Cambodian Orchid Conservation Project
Beside Conservation of Cambodian Orchids, we take care about the area where we are located. Therefore we do following:

Reforestation
Kompong Thom Procince is almost completely deforested, and replaced by cashew trees. Also our location. Year after year we collect the seeds from the trees, situated in the local village forest, and the protected forest from the temples "Prasat Sambor Prei Kuk. The fist year with little success because of the climatological influence (el ninna 2015). The temperature rose to 45 ˚C.

Bird watching:
​

Merlins (Falco columbarius) stay on our land since they were young. Now they have a nest in one of our trees (Irvingia malayana) at a altitude of 30 m.

​After the first heavy rain last week, the Indian cormorant (Phalacrocorax fuscicollis) came back to our lake.

​Also the Chestnut-headed bee-eater (Merops leschenaultia) have for the fist time a nest. 

​Purple sunbirds (Cynniris asiaticus) eating nectar from a new sprout of Dipterocarpus obtusifolius,
